It was another beautiful sunny Florida winter day. Leslie, Lincoln, Lauren, and Lillian left Indiana on a plane bound for Charlotte while Chris left DC on a direct flight to Ft Lauderdale. Chris arrived first at 1 pm so Tim and Larry picked him up and went to lunch at Pollo Tropical. We had been back at Grandpere's condo only a short while when Leslie called to let us know that they had arrived early in Ft Lauderdale. Traffic was awful but their bags took a while to come out so they hadn't been waiting long for Grandpere to pick them up. After we got their bags, Lincoln took the 2 big ones upstairs to meet Tim in the convertible and everyone else went with Grandpere back to the condo.
Tim and Lincoln went to the grocery store. Everyone else settled in at the condo. The girls got to see the siste ship to our ship anchored out at Port Everglades. Leslie et al and Chris went for a swim at the pool while Larry and Tim went next door to an Open House in 1512. Leslie, Lauren and Lillian went back there later with Larry - the girls got a BIG cookie from Tim Dirmeyer. They liked that.
Gigi had dinner ready when we got back and we had salad, lasagna, and garlic bread. It was yummy. Lillian ate pretty good and was then ready for bed. So off to sleep she went. The adults sat around the table talking for a while and then Lauren went to bed. Everyone retired relatively early except Uncle Chris who watched TV. We are all excited about the start of our cruise adventure tomorrow.
Lauren's favorite things today - listening to her ipod and watching DVD's on the plane.
Lillian's favorite things today - riding on the big plane and seeing the large boats.
